Why couchdb-lucene?
couchdb-lucene is essentially a web services wrapper around core Lucene functionality which allows for indexing of documents stored in a CouchDB instance. Very powerful tool which allows for rapid development of compelling document-oriented search and information retrieval apps using no more than some basic HTML(5) and Javascript. Very cool stuff!
